Puppies develop and lose this set of baby teeth just like humans do. This part of the puppy teething process is actually the second teething stage. By the time your dog is about 6 months old he or she should have all 48 adult teeth.
12 to 16 weeks most puppies start to lose their baby teeth at this age and you may notice little teeth around the home.
